About The Creator
My story
Sincere, blunt, raw, and honest. That's what you'll find here.
Hi – I’m Glenda – mom, wife, cat herder, maker of things, and unapologetic truth-teller.
This blog is my corner of the internet where I speak candidly about the raw, messy, beautiful parts of life – especially the ones people tend to tiptoe around. I write and talk with you about grief, relationships, and the strange art of surviving after losing a child. It’s not always pretty, but it’s always real.
I believe in saying what needs to be said, even if it makes people squirm a little. Life’s too short for sugarcoating. I’ve walked through the fire of loss, and while I didn’t come out unscathed, I did come out with a sharper wit, a deeper heart, and a strong desire to help others feel less alone.
You’ll find stories here that are sincere, sometimes salty, occasionally funny (depending on your tolerance for dark humor), and always honest. I write like I talk – straightforward, a little brassy, and with deep love for the people who are trying to figure it all out.
Whether you’re grieving, healing, loving, or just trying to make it through the day without screaming into a pillow, you’re welcome here. Grab a cup of coffee (or wine, I don’t judge), and let’s talk about stuff that matters.
Thanks for being here. Really.
~ Glenda
